flowers turned trees
I'm slowly getting back into sewing and have enjoyed sewing simple pieces over the last week! I have a goal to sew an apron for the "tie one on" blog and have until the end of the year to complete it. Plenty of time! Just hope I can get to it soon.
Tonight's creation was this coin purse where I tried to do a free-hand design. Please note, I've never done this before and was thinking "flowers" when I began. As I continued I forgot what my initial idea was and then I just went with the flow. I even added a butterfly because I didn't forget I was going for a garden theme! :) After I completed the coin purse I decided I ended up with trees and not flowers. Still works, I think.

I just started making digital images...I'm really getting this too. I guess if we stick with these new hobbies, we can really master them and be brightened by this skill which we'll possess.
I've always wanted to try freeform sewing too -- but usually my "straight lines" end up looking rather "freeform!" Ha ha!
