Thrifting Finds

thrifting finds

Found these patterns and vintage fabric at the thrift store a couple of weeks ago! I couldn't believe that the patterns were only 10 cents each and that retro flower fabric, only 33 cents!!! I bought the patterns because I'd like to figure out how to do certain details on clothes. My goal is to at least try to understand the construction and then apply it to my own design. I guess it's a type of self-taught fashion design school! :)

I'm looking forward to working with the McCall's 5086 pattern! It calls for using stretchy fabric and I can use the triple stitch option on my new sewing machine!!!

Thrifting Lesson: Seems that Saturdays are the days to thrift because many things are marked 50% off.

Awesome patterns! I haven't had much like finding cool patterns while thrifting. You scored though!
